A New Face

We are really enjoying having the missionaries for breakfast! We were sad Elder Jensen was transferred, however we now have a new face at our table. Elder Meldrum from Ohio. He is just fresh out of the MTC with just a little stop in Las Vegas before arriving in lovely Fernley. I have decided that Fernley must have a height requirement for missionaries because they are all soooooo tall. They must all be well over six feet tall!
We are so blessed to have the missionaries in our home and are happy to be some of the first families to welcome Elder Meldrum to the mission field!

Elder Christensen gave us a cool lesson. Try to balance ten nails on top of the eleventh nail's head. Yes, it can be done if someone gives you the knowledge and guidance needed! You know like a prophet gives us knowledge!

A New Start

When we lived in Citrus Heights I alway took pictures of the missionaries and kept a photo album. I need to repent since I have not done that since we moved. We love having the missionaries over for dinner or breakfast. They always bring a pleasant spirit into our home. Currently we have four because our area is growing so rapidly? Two for the Spanish and the two for English. So here they are: Left to right Elders Jensen (from Canada), Christenson (from Washington via Argentina), Otteson (from Texas), and Carlos (from Virginia). They came for breakfast this morning which is a Saturday on their way to do some service for one of the sisters in 1st ward hence they are not in their normal attire!

Elden Jensen (a little camera shy- maybe he's in witness protection ?) thinks Dad looks like Gene Hackman. And he is really stong (Elder Jensen). I think he is Dad's favorite! But they are all great missionaries and we are enjoying having them in our home.
